Manager Network Planning

Location: Onsite in Almaty, Kazakhstan

What you will do

• Develop and continuously optimize short- and medium-term network plans.
• Identify domestic and international route opportunities and prepare detailed business cases for management approval.
• Monitor route performance and recommend changes to frequencies, capacity, seasonality, timings, and network structure.
• Optimize aircraft deployment while balancing commercial performance, utilization, operational constraints, and network efficiency.
• Coordinate with Scheduling, Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and airport stakeholders on route development and launches.
• Prepare forecasts, network performance analyses, management presentations, and recommendations while managing and developing Network Planning analysts.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of airline commercial experience, preferably in Network Planning, Network Development, Revenue Management, Scheduling, or Commercial Planning.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or economics is preferred.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Strong understanding of the low-cost carrier business model, airline network economics, route profitability, demand forecasting, competitive analysis, and fleet deployment.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical, financial modeling, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
