AWS Solutions Architect

Location: Full remote within Poland

What you will do

• Work with client stakeholders, including C-level executives, to define cloud transformation goals and architectural strategies.
• Design scalable, secure, highly available, and cost-effective AWS architectures using containers, serverless services, databases, networking, and event-driven components.
• Create target architectures and migration or modernization roadmaps for legacy systems, including monolith-to-cloud-native and hybrid transformations.
• Design and review application architectures, APIs, data flows, integration patterns, authentication, authorization, and service-to-service communication.
• Support development and operations teams with production debugging, observability, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
• Implement infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, security controls, disaster recovery, backup strategies, and AWS cost optimization.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of hands-on AWS experience in production environments.
• Experience designing and operating cloud-based applications, with a background in application development or architecture such as PHP or Java.
• Experience with REST APIs, monolithic, microservice, and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience debugging cloud applications and working with logging, monitoring, and observability tools such as CloudWatch, OpenSearch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration using ECS and/or EKS.
• Proficient English and the ability to work remotely from Poland are required.

Nice to have

• Experience correlating application logs with cloud infrastructure metrics and using distributed tracing tools such as OpenTelemetry or X-Ray.
• Experience in regulated or high-availability environments.
• Knowledge of application and infrastructure performance optimization.
• AWS or DevOps certifications in areas such as DevOps Engineering, Security, SysOps, or Networking.
