Director, Global Diagnostics Strategy Lead

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end global diagnostic strategies for assigned molecules and programs from early assessment through launch and lifecycle management.
• Align diagnostic development objectives with therapeutic programs, clinical development, regulatory approval, commercialization, and access requirements.
• Evaluate assay and platform options, partner strategies, regulatory and commercial pathways, costs, timelines, opportunities, and risks.
• Oversee Diagnostic Development Teams and integrate milestones, risks, mitigations, resources, and financials with therapeutic development plans.
• Lead external diagnostic partner selection and collaboration, including workplans, scope, roles, and deliverables.
• Represent the diagnostics function in governance forums and lead, coach, and influence cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix environment.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree plus 4 years, master's degree plus 8 years, or bachelor's degree plus 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics, clinical development, or a related field.
• Direct experience developing and implementing diagnostic, companion diagnostic, or precision medicine strategies in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or diagnostics setting.
• Knowledge of clinical, regulatory, commercial, and access considerations affecting global diagnostic development and launch.
• Experience with oncology precision medicine, in vitro diagnostics, companion diagnostics, biomarker assay development, or diagnostic platform lifecycle management.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, influencing without authority, managing partners, and working with senior stakeholders in a matrix environment.
• Strong executive communication, presentation, facilitation, project leadership, risk management, timeline management, and financial planning skills.
