What you will do
- Lead research and development activities related to biotherapeutic manufacturing processes.
- Represent Attribute Sciences on cross-functional project teams and collaborate with multidisciplinary scientists.
- Lead analytical assessment of pre-pivotal candidate biotherapeutics through development.
- Design experiments to understand therapeutic protein attributes and stability characteristics.
- Develop, qualify, troubleshoot, and evaluate analytical methods using CE, SEC, IEX, RP, HILIC, HPLC/UPLC, and mass spectrometry.
- Support process development, protein characterization, regulatory submissions, control and stability strategies, and technology transfer.
Requirements
- PhD, PharmD, or MD with at least 2 years of scientific experience; or a master's degree with 5 years of scientific experience; or a bachelor's degree with 7 years of scientific experience.
- Advanced knowledge of protein biochemistry and protein-based biotherapeutics.
- Expertise in analytical method development and characterization of protein therapeutics.
- Strong laboratory skills, including experimental design, execution, complex data interpretation, and timely delivery of results.
- Understanding of biotherapeutic critical quality attributes, including aggregation, fragmentation, deamidation, oxidation, and partial reduction.
- Strong leadership, independent project execution, and written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- PhD in biochemistry, analytical chemistry, biophysics, pharmaceutical chemistry, or a related life science field.
- At least 2 years of industry experience.
