What you will do

• Act as molecule lead on selected pipeline programmes and provide technical and cross-functional leadership.
• Develop and deliver drug discovery strategies aligned with the immunology portfolio.
• Lead experimental design, early risk assessment, contingency planning, and programme progression toward candidate nomination.
• Develop innovative approaches involving cellular depletion, protein design, and emerging scientific technologies.
• Collaborate with immunology discovery, development sciences, clinical development, and precision medicine functions.
• Present scientific concepts and results to scientific and non-scientific audiences, share knowledge, and mentor junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Experience across multiple drug discovery programmes, including at least one proven cell depletion modality.
• BS, MS, PhD, or equivalent experience in a relevant scientific field.
• Ability to function as a principal investigator, generate original technical ideas, and define development strategies.
• Recognised expertise in the relevant scientific discipline, with strong problem-solving and innovation skills.
• Strong publication, presentation, regulatory, and/or patent record.
• Excellent scientific communication skills, including presentations at leading scientific conferences.

Nice to have

• Expertise in cellular therapies such as CAR-T, CAR-NK, or CAR-Treg.
• Expertise in complex antibody engineering, including bispecific and novel formats.
• Strong background in translational biology.
