Robot Service Technician Assistant (Robotics)

Location: San Luis Obispo, California, United States; onsite only. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. Remote work, relocation, and visa sponsorship are not available.

What you will do

• Prepare autonomous delivery robots and their hardware and software for daily deployment.
• Manage robot and battery charging cycles to maintain fleet readiness.
• Clean robots and protect sensitive external hardware.
• Assist with basic mechanical repairs, service campaigns, calibrations, and wheel alignment.
• Provide hands-on field support to remote support coordinators.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop.

Requirements

• Comfort working in varied field environments.
• Ability to safely lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving.
• Team-oriented communication and collaboration skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• General computer literacy.
• Introductory experience or interest in electric vehicle service, automotive repair, or electronics.
