Elgin RX Tech - Pharmacy Tech - Part Time

hirify.global operates the Elgin RX Tech pharmacy position within its Central Texas Stores division.

What you will do

• Process written and third-party prescriptions, verify patient information, and manage adjudication issues using RxEVO.
• Assemble, measure, reconstitute, count, verify, and label prescriptions according to the required seven-point check.
• Coordinate prescription screening, flu shot, immunization, and other pharmacy professional services events.
• Manage inventory, invoices, warehouse and DSD orders, deliveries, returns, and discrepancy resolution.
• Maintain and troubleshoot automated prescription processing equipment, including Kirby Lester and ScriptPro.
• Protect patient health information under HIPAA and support pharmacy standards, compliance, maintenance, and organization.

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older and work onsite in Elgin, Texas.
• At least one year of experience as an active retail Certified Pharmacy Technician; three or more years of pharmacy experience are preferred.
• Active Texas registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), including required continuing education and recertification.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy operations, prescription processing, calculations, inventory, HIPAA, and pharmacy procedures.
• Intermediate computer skills with MS Office, Windows, RxEVO, RxIMS, PartnerNet, and Workforce Manager, plus the ability to work rotating shifts, nights, and weekends.
