hirify.globalss="what-you-will-do">What you will do

• Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for budgeting, cash and credit management, and accounting activities.
• Coordinate financial planning, budgeting, procurement, investment activities, and preparation of financial information.
• Prepare or direct the preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, forecasts, budgets, and regulatory reports.
• Evaluate funding and surplus investment needs and provide recommendations.
• Monitor financial ratios and KPIs, and evaluate the performance of accounting and financial staff.
• Advise management on financial objectives and policies, and communicate with boards, bankers, investors, and other stakeholders, including preparing for or hosting board presentations.

• Bachelor’s degree required; a combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted instead.
• Seven years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience required.
• Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, including FASB/SFAS, or another comprehensive basis of accounting.
• Ability to develop and maintain working knowledge of accounting software and systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and applicable software.
• Strong organization, goal orientation, self-motivation, and ability to handle pressure professionally.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including clear, concise, and considerate communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others and value diverse contributions.
• Proven success managing work and key client relationships to exceed client expectations.
• Ability to work primarily in-office and travel to client sites, including occasional non-local or overnight travel.

• Logistics industry experience, especially in distribution, trucking, transportation, warehousing, or third-party logistics.
