Senior Software Engineer, iOS (Hybrid - San Diego, CA or Acton, MA)

Location: Hybrid, with on-site work required at an hirify.global office in San Diego, California or Acton, Massachusetts, United States

Annual base salary: $140,800–$211,150 USD, plus potential incentive compensation.

hirify.global develops medical devices and the Omnipod tubeless insulin delivery platform for people with diabetes and other therapeutic needs.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deliver iOS applications and SDKs using Swift.
• Implement unit tests and UI tests for core functionality and user workflows.
• Collaborate in Scrum teams with developers, testers, product owners, scrum masters, product managers, and UX designers.
• Define features, evaluate technologies, and develop prototypes.
• Mentor software developers and promote software engineering best practices and design patterns.
• Maintain consistency across software architecture and implementation while following design assurance procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of iOS software development experience.
• Experience building and shipping production-quality software.
• Experience with application development frameworks, Git, APIs, REST, OAuth 2.0, and JSON.
• Experience owning software modules and ensuring their quality.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SwiftUI and Combine.
• Experience with TCA or unidirectional flow patterns.
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform, Bluetooth, and BLE.
• Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines and working in Agile Scrum teams.
• Experience with FDA and HIPAA regulations.
