DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Remote, based in Bogota

What you will do

• Provide operational and troubleshooting support for production Kubernetes clusters, Port.io platform services, and Argo DevSecOps environments.
• Monitor platform health and performance with Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana.
• Investigate networking, storage, security, container, and application deployment issues in Kubernetes.
• Manage Helm charts, Argo CD, Flux CD, YAML configurations, deployment artifacts, and GitLab CI runners.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve platform stability and automate routine maintenance.
• Maintain support documentation, resolve incidents promptly, communicate status updates, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Production experience managing and supporting Kubernetes clusters in cloud and on-premises environments.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and cloud-native application deployments.
• Experience with CI/CD and deployment automation tools such as Jenkins, Argo CD, and GitLab CI.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools including Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, or the ELK stack.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in networking, Linux systems, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Bash or Python scripting for automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or Azure.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification or similar Kubernetes certification.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes security best practices.
• Experience with VMware environments.
• Familiarity with Port.io or similar platform services.
