RX Tech - Pharmacy Tech - Part Time

Location: Mont Belvieu, Texas; onsite retail pharmacy environment

Salary: USD $20.00 per hour

What you will do

• Process written and third-party prescriptions using RxEVO, verify patient information, and manage adjudication reviews.
• Provide customer service and support prescription delivery, screening events, flu shot scheduling, and immunization scheduling.
• Assemble prescriptions, hand-count controlled medications, measure liquids, reconstitute antibiotics, and complete the seven-point verification check.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, invoices, warehouse and DSD orders, deliveries, returns, and stock organization.
• Maintain and troubleshoot automated prescription processing equipment, including Kirby Lester and ScriptPro.
• Support pharmacy compliance, reporting, maintenance, and operational standards.

Requirements

• Active Texas registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is required.
• At least one year of experience as an active retail Certified Pharmacy Technician; three or more years of pharmacy experience preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; minimum age of 18.
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations, RxEVO, pharmacy SOPs, prescription calculations, and intermediate computer applications including Microsoft Office and Windows.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, maintain composure under pressure, and collaborate in a team environment.
• Availability for rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, and ability to stand for extended periods and lift 30 pounds or more.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of pharmacy experience.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
