Manufacturing Tech (Aerospace)

Location: Shelby, NC, United States; onsite, 2nd shift Monday to Friday from 2:00pm to 10:00pm

Salary: $21.00–$30.33 per hour plus bonus opportunity

hirify.global Actuation Division designs, manufactures, and supports electro-mechanical actuation products and systems for aerospace, defense, and industrial automation applications.

What you will do

• Repair, overhaul, and test mechanical and hydraulic aircraft components.
• Select designs, methods, materials, and equipment for manufacturing and repair work.
• Plan fabrication, assembly, installation, and testing procedures for experimental components and equipment.
• Organize components and equipment to meet project objectives and compliance requirements.
• Determine alternative designs, methods, materials, and equipment when needed.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and planning teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Two to five years of aerospace parts repair and overhaul experience, including hydraulics, highly preferred.
• Excellent manual dexterity and knowledge of basic hand tools, disassembly, and assembly practices.
• Ability to use test and inspection tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and detailed work instructions and complete quality work independently.
