Medical Lead, UK

Location: United Kingdom; remote role with frequent travel of approximately 30–40% across the UK and occasionally internationally.

What you will do

• Develop and execute the UK Medical Affairs strategy and country medical plans.
• Lead medical education for healthcare professionals through online, in-person, peer-to-peer, congress, symposium, and product-training programs.
• Plan and support evidence generation, hirify.global-sponsored trials, investigator-initiated trials, and evidence dissemination.
• Engage healthcare professionals and national and regional KOLs through advisory boards, clinical activities, scientific exchanges, and educational events.
• Translate clinical data into scientifically sound insights and claims, and review externally facing medical materials for accuracy using Veeva.
• Supervise Medical Affairs staff and collaborate with commercial, marketing, market access, regulatory, and sales excellence partners.

Requirements

• MD, PharmD, PhD, MS in life science, or equivalent qualification.
• At least 8 years of relevant Medical Affairs experience in diabetes within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
• In-depth knowledge of diabetes, its current and future treatment landscape, and ongoing clinical research.
• Experience developing and implementing medical strategy, with strong scientific, strategic, execution, communication, and leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively in cross-functional environments while maintaining high ethical standards.
