Senior FP&A Manager — Field Operations

Location: Lisbon, Portugal. Remote-friendly policy and flexible hours are offered.

hirify.global builds parcel locker infrastructure for parcel delivery across Europe, operating across nine countries with more than €100M in revenue.

What you will do

• Own the field operations P&L across all active countries, including revenue allocation, direct costs, and contribution margins by country and customer contract.
• Build and maintain unit economics for deployments, maintenance visits, and battery swaps, including labour, travel, parts, and subcontractor costs.
• Run monthly budget-versus-actual reviews with country managers, analyse variance drivers, and update forecasts.
• Track technician utilization and operating costs, identifying inefficiencies and partnering with operations leaders to address them.
• Own the rolling forecast, incorporating country launches, seasonal patterns, and contract changes.
• Analyse SLA cost exposure, penalty risks, compliance costs, and cost-to-serve alignment with commercial terms.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, financial controlling, or management controlling.
• Experience with distributed field teams in logistics, facilities management, telecoms network operations, fleet operations, or a similar environment.
• Ability to build P&Ls from operational data and apply cost allocation and activity-based costing.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including SUMIFS, pivot tables, scenario modelling, and connecting multiple data sources.
• Technical fluency with ERP or BI tools for independent data extraction.
• Fluent English required for financial communication across multiple countries.

Nice to have

• Experience building a controlling function in a high-growth company.
• Knowledge of European labour costs, subcontracting models, and local tax implications.
• Working knowledge of Python or SQL for data extraction and analysis.
