Senior Staff Security Engineer (AI Security)

Location: London, UK. Hybrid work with in-office collaboration expected 10+ days per month.

What you will do

• Define hirify.global’s AI security technical strategy and roadmap across the agentic software development lifecycle.
• Design and implement controls for LLM-integrated and agentic systems, including sandboxing, identity and permission scoping, runtime monitoring, and containment.
• Establish AI security guardrails, provenance standards, dual-review requirements, and audit controls for AI-assisted development.
• Review and assess risks for AI integrations such as LLM APIs, SaaS copilots, AI code editors, MCP servers, and vendor-embedded AI.
• Build Shadow AI detection capabilities and help ensure AI workflows operate within an auditable security perimeter.
• Contribute to industry frameworks, regulatory discussions, and published research on responsible AI security.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Security Engineering experience with depth in at least two areas, such as Product Security, Cloud Security, or Security Operations.
• Hands-on experience with AI or ML security and strong knowledge of prompt injection, jailbreaks, data poisoning, model extraction, RAG manipulation, tool poisoning, excessive agency, and MCP vulnerabilities.
• Experience securing agentic AI systems through sandboxing, permission scoping, human-in-the-loop design, or runtime monitoring.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, CI/CD pipeline security, containers, Kubernetes, IAM, and API security.
• Strong threat modeling skills using approaches such as STRIDE, MITRE ATLAS, or OWASP LLM Top 10.
• Ability to influence technical direction across Engineering, Product, and Security without direct authority and build solutions in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in FinTech, crypto, or highly regulated environments.
• Exposure to NYDFS, MAS, DORA, or SOC 2 frameworks in the context of AI adoption.
