Professional Services Principal Consultant - Incident Response, French-Speaking (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote, open to candidates in France, the UK, Ireland, Spain, or Italy

Salary: €61,000–€94,600 per year base pay for candidates based in Italy, plus eligibility for bonus or commission pay.

What you will do

• Serve as technical lead on incident response engagements.
• Develop and apply methods to hunt for malicious actors across large datasets.
• Conduct intrusion investigations under the direction of outside counsel.
• Perform host and network forensics across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
• Prepare written and verbal reports, presentations, recommendations, and findings for customer management, regulators, and legal counsel.
• Demonstrate incident response thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and public speaking.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and French is required.
• Experience in incident response, computer or network forensics, reverse engineering, incident remediation, network operations, or cloud incident response.
• Knowledge of network protocols and tools such as Bro/Zeek or Suricata, plus analysis of network logs.
• Ability to communicate executive-level and technical findings to clients and coordinate methodology with internal teams.
• Ability to complete technical tasks independently, with strong project management and communication skills.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.

Nice to have

• GCIH, GCFA, GCFE, CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or OSCE certification.
• Cloud incident response experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, information security, cybersecurity, or a related field; relevant experience or training may substitute for a degree.
