TL;DR
Technology Officer (CRM and Information Systems): Supporting and improving the systems, platforms, and tools used for fundraising, volunteering, alumni engagement, and supporter communications with an accent on user support, CRM activity, data management, and system stability. Focus on resolving technical issues, gathering user requirements, supporting technology adoption, and coordinating improvements with IT Services and external suppliers.
Location: Oxford Road, Manchester, United Kingdom. Applicants must demonstrate the right to work in the UK. This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.

What you will do
- Provide first-line user support for DDAR systems and triage complex issues to IT Services or vendors.
- Help colleagues use technology effectively through training, guidance, and support for new features.
- Support technology improvements, updates, releases, and CRM-related activities.
- Assist with business process analysis and gathering user requirements.
- Help maintain the stability, accessibility, and availability of systems, software, hardware, and web tools.
Requirements
- Practical understanding of information systems, relational databases, and data management.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues.
- Curiosity, attention to detail, collaborative working skills, and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom is required; Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is not available.
Nice to have
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
- Experience with reporting tools and SQL.
- Experience in higher education fundraising and engagement.
