Tax Senior Manager - Community Tax Practice

Location: Denver, CO, United States; candidates must reside in or near Denver or be willing to relocate to the area. The role follows a principally in-person model with flexible scheduling and some required hours available remotely.

Salary: $120,000–$185,000 base salary, depending on geographic location, experience, education, responsibilities, and skills.

What you will do

• Manage annual tax compliance for business and individual clients, including planning, scheduling, projections, extensions, tax notices, research, memoranda, estimated payments, and billing.
• Review and sign S-corporation, C-corporation, partnership, and individual tax returns.
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and potential tax exposures.
• Supervise and train staff and interns assigned to client engagements.
• Own project status and ensure client delivery and statutory filing deadlines are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA, EA, or Bar License required.
• 10+ years of recent tax compliance experience.
• Required experience with S-corporation, C-corporation, partnership, and individual taxation.
• Demonstrated leadership skills within an organization.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Public accounting experience.
• Experience with fiduciary, estate and gift, and not-for-profit tax returns, including private foundations.
• Experience providing routine accounting assistance.
• Bilingual Japanese and English or Chinese and English language skills.
