What you will do

• Lead end-to-end semiconductor integration strategy for ion-trap quantum computing platforms.
• Integrate ion trap devices, BEOL, photonics, advanced packaging, interconnect, and cryogenic CMOS technologies.
• Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team of semiconductor integration experts.
• Define integration architectures, interfaces, design rules, technical requirements, milestones, and success criteria.
• Drive execution across design enablement, device engineering, process integration, packaging, reliability, and IP teams.
• Support hardware qualification and readiness while communicating complex integration decisions to executives, engineering teams, partners, and research institutions.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or Materials Science.
• 12 years of professional experience.
• Experience leading semiconductor integration and multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Ability to manage tradeoffs between performance, yield, reliability, scalability, cost, manufacturability, and qualification.
• Availability for approximately 15% travel.

Nice to have

• PhD and experience transitioning advanced research concepts into manufacturable hardware platforms.
• Experience with quantum, cryogenic, photonic, or hybrid computing systems.
• Background in BEOL process integration and/or integrated photonics.
• Experience with government, academic, or industrial joint development programs.
• Experience setting technical direction and mentoring senior engineers and technical leaders.
