Audit Manager/Senior Audit Manager (Capital Markets)

Location: New York, NY; hybrid arrangement with 2+ days per week on-site

Salary: $145,000–$190,000 USD annually, based on experience, qualifications, and location. Eligible candidates may also participate in an incentive compensation plan.

What you will do

• Manage and execute audit engagements across a portfolio of Capital Markets activities.
• Lead complex audit projects, including staffing, scheduling, resource management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Assess risks and controls, design audit programs, review workpapers, and prepare audit reports.
• Build relationships with senior management and internal and external stakeholders.
• Coach audit personnel, provide feedback, and support professional development.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, conflict resolution, and cross-team collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant audit experience, including Capital Markets activities and products.
• Exposure to FINRA, CFTC, and Security-Based Swap Dealer regulations.
• CPA and CIA certifications are expected; CFA or progress toward the designation is a plus.
• Strong project management, analytical, written and verbal communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in the specified US location is required; employment sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• CFA designation or progress toward the CFA designation.
• Experience with broker-dealer services, commodity trading, derivative instruments, equity derivatives, fixed income trading, prime brokerage, and trade control.
