Senior/Lead Site Reliability Engineer – Federal (AI)

Location: Tysons, Virginia, or Redwood City, California, United States; travel to customer sites may be required up to 50%.

Salary: $159,000–$230,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Design and implement customized C3 AI Platform installations for federal customers with specialized access and security requirements.
• Maintain system uptime, availability, functionality, performance, and service-level agreements.
• Build end-to-end monitoring and alerting for critical systems and services.
• Resolve complex reliability issues and develop automation to prevent recurring problems.
• Lead scripting and automation for system updates, upgrades, and deployment workflows.
• Set up infrastructure, tools, and frameworks while collaborating with Services and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance or higher is required; Top Secret or higher is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a comparable field.
• Experience deploying, managing, and operating scalable, fault-tolerant Kubernetes infrastructure in AWS and Azure; on-premises experience is preferred.
• Expertise in Linux, networking, database concepts, and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet; Ruby, Bash, or Python; and DevOps or systems administration for commercial SaaS solutions.

• Top Secret or higher security clearance.
