Location: Onsite in Long Beach, California, United States; travel is required up to 10% during normal operations and may increase to 50%+ during launch campaigns, including extended deployment to Cape Canaveral or other launch facilities.
Salary: $112,000–$195,000 USD annually, depending on level and qualifications.

What you will do
- Define and manage vehicle configuration states for testing, shipping, integration, and launch processing.
- Develop and execute ATLO sequences for Haven-1 and coordinate vehicle state transitions across integration, testing, and launch operations.
- Plan and execute critical handling of flight hardware and MGSE, including lifting, weighing, breakovers, transport, and mate operations.
- Support payload processing, vehicle stacking, system checkouts, functional testing, health verification, and launch campaign execution.
- Author integration plans, procedures, work orders, and sequencing plans while working directly with production staff and technicians.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, vendors, launch providers, and range personnel to resolve integration issues and meet facility and range safety requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 4 years of aerospace integration engineering experience, including direct support for spacecraft launch campaigns and launch-site operations.
- Hands-on experience integrating spacecraft hardware, including critical lifts, transport, and mechanical or electrical mate operations.
- Experience working alongside technicians and directing multi-person integration operations.
- Experience authoring integration procedures, work orders, and vehicle-level sequencing plans.
- Must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing under U.S. export-control regulations.
Nice to have
- 6+ years of aerospace integration experience with progressive ownership of ATLO or vehicle-level integration through launch.
- Experience leading end-to-end launch campaigns and building integration processes from scratch.
- Familiarity with payload processing facilities, range safety, contamination control, cleanroom protocols, TCS, propulsion fill operations, and vehicle health checks.
- Experience with NX or similar mechanical design tools for MGSE and fixture design.
- Experience with spacecraft critical lifts, breakovers, and mass property measurements.
