Java Developer with Italian

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; the Data & AI team also operates in Varna.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain enterprise Java applications using Java 11/17.
• Design, develop, and enhance RESTful APIs.
• Build and support integration workflows using Oracle Service Bus.
• Contribute to data processing pipelines and enterprise data integration solutions.
• Troubleshoot application and platform issues, support stability, and optimize performance.
• Perform code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional and international teams in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Core Java 11+/17, OOP principles, collections, and multithreading.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Strong SQL and database knowledge, including query optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and Jenkins, Maven, and Git.
• Knowledge of clean, modular, readable, and testable code principles, plus analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Professional proficiency in Italian and English at B2 level or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle Service Bus, Cloudera CDP, Oracle PL/SQL, or JDBC API.
• Exposure to enterprise data integration and large-scale data processing platforms.
