Compliance Manager - Trust Companies

Salary: $140,000–$190,000 annual base salary plus target annual bonus

What you will do

• Serve as Compliance Officer for two OCC-regulated trust company subsidiaries and a Cayman Islands trust company.
• Lead, implement, monitor, and test compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
• Analyze regulatory developments and communicate their impact to management, business units, and internal stakeholders.
• Identify compliance risks and control gaps, own remediation plans, and support effective controls in business workflows.
• Prepare compliance reports for Boards of Directors, management committees, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct compliance training and support internal and external examinations and audits.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant legal or compliance experience in a trust company, bank, or wealth management firm.
• JD strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Office of the Comptroller of the Currency regulations, including Reg 9, and Cayman Islands Monetary Authority oversight.
• Experience interpreting regulations, drafting policies and procedures, and conducting compliance or forensic testing.
• Working knowledge of trust and estate law, trust administration, investments, conflicts of interest, and institutional trust structures.
• Strong relationship management, influencing, written communication, oral communication, and Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
