Data Analyst, Data Intelligence (Fintech)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; onsite four days per week. Candidates should be comfortable with regular onsite presence for collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Gather requirements, design, implement, and deliver reporting and analytics capabilities for Finance and Accounting.
• Develop reliable reporting solutions and support the transition from legacy information access to data enablement and self-service.
• Create data visualizations and transform raw data into actionable insights, recommendations, and KPIs.
• Design and build BI applications with embedded workflows that automate decision points and enable action from data.
• Establish data analysis best practices, technical standards, and approaches that improve data quality.
• Collaborate with senior executives, analysts, program managers, and technical teams to solve complex data problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence professional supporting Finance and Accounting functions.
• Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, dbt, BigQuery, Git, Palantir, and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of data models, structures, theories, principles, and practices.
• Experience gathering stakeholder requirements, understanding processes, translating them into data solutions, and creating or evaluating KPIs.
• Demonstrated ability to build data visualizations and communicate insights through data storytelling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Exposure to product management or experience building applications and data-driven tools.
• Experience with agile project execution and Jira or ServiceNow.
