Senior Audit Manager, Wealth Management

Location: New York, NY; hybrid arrangement with 2+ days per week on-site. Up to 15% travel required.

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 USD per year, based on experience, qualifications, and location. Additional incentive compensation may apply.

What you will do

• Develop and execute comprehensive, risk-based audit plans covering the Private Wealth Management portfolio.
• Lead complex audits across trust companies, registered investment advisors, investments, advisory services, and personal banking.
• Oversee multiple audit engagements, including scope, resources, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and stakeholder coordination.
• Translate business strategies and emerging developments into risk-sensitive audit approaches.
• Prepare and review well-supported audit reports and communicate findings to management.
• Lead, coach, and mentor audit professionals while strengthening team expertise and audit quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive audit experience, including internal audit experience within a large U.S. bank, wealth management firm, or registered investment advisor.
• Deep knowledge of wealth management business practices, risks, and controls, including investment, advisory, and trust activities.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation, relationship-building, and project management skills.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States at the specified location; employment sponsorship is not available.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with at least 2 days per week on-site and travel up to 15%.
