Location: Singapore, Singapore; hybrid workplace
Salary: SGD 110,000–200,000 per year, plus potential restricted stock units, sign-on bonus, and other incentives.

What you will do
- Build software that automates the deployment and operation of production databases.
- Operate database systems through on-call rotations, incident response, troubleshooting, remediation, and post-incident reviews.
- Identify recurring patterns across incidents, support tickets, and alerts and turn them into systemic fleet improvements.
- Manage large-scale database fleet migrations and support new database installations.
- Partner with customer-facing, database engineering, and infrastructure teams to build resilient, highly available systems.
- Develop documentation, metrics, monitors, troubleshooting tools, and operational standards through code and design reviews.
Requirements
- Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or a similar field.
- Experience writing code in languages such as Java, Python, and Go.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, AWS, GCP, Azure, and OpenShift.
- Experience with Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
- Strong foundation in Linux, distributed web services, and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
- Current right to work in Singapore is particularly valued; Singapore citizens are encouraged to apply.
