Manager, Production Operations (Live Production)

Location: New York, New York; onsite

Base salary: $139,900–$171,850 USD per year, plus equity awards, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan, and region-specific benefits.

What you will do

• Oversee daily production operations across shifts for live and recorded programming.
• Lead Supervisors and Production Assistants through clear expectations, coaching, training, and performance enablement.
• Build and maintain scalable workflows, SOPs, escalation protocols, and operating frameworks.
• Partner with scheduling, studio operations, and cross-functional stakeholders on shift planning, studio readiness, and production support.
• Monitor operational quality and performance trends, report risks and recommendations, and implement continuous improvements.
• Provide control room leadership and timely decision-making during active multi-camera productions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in operations management, ideally in live broadcast, studio, or technical production.
• Hands-on multi-camera directing and technical directing experience in live or recorded production environments.
• Demonstrated control room leadership and sound judgment under live show conditions.
• Strong technical production knowledge, including live production workflows and operational troubleshooting.
• Experience managing teams in fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environments.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, and media production tools and systems.
