Senior Engineering Specialist (Sputter Maintenance)

Location: Onsite at the Woodlands manufacturing site in Singapore; 12-hour shift pattern required.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and product conversion on sputtering equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment issues and follow up on chronic machine problems.
• Lead technicians in maintaining and improving overall equipment effectiveness.
• Partner with equipment and process engineering teams to improve reliability and reduce product defects.
• Initiate equipment productivity, safety, cost-saving, and continuous improvement projects.
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve tool stability.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in predictive and preventive equipment maintenance.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting equipment maintenance issues.
• Familiarity with mechanical engineering or an equivalent discipline.
• Leadership skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work in a clean room and on a 12-hour shift pattern.
• Positive, adaptable, collaborative, and strong problem-solving approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with PLC controls, vacuum technology, and equipment maintenance.
• Experience working with other teams on continuous improvement.
