Social Media Coordinator (Gaming)

What you will do

• Schedule and manage daily links, images, videos, breaking news, evergreen posts, reels, and other content across Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, and TikTok.
• Create social graphics using Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools.
• Write captions and social copy that drive audience interaction while following the publication’s voice and style.
• Edit short-form videos for social distribution and monitor performance data to improve content strategy.
• Identify trending topics and reactive content opportunities while collaborating with editorial teams to maximize story performance.
• Use TrueAnthem and the Media Library system to schedule, tag, sort, and organize content, with flexible availability for major events and news cycles.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing social media accounts at scale, especially Facebook and Instagram.
• Strong understanding of platform algorithms and audience behavior.
• Ability to create compelling static social imagery and perform basic short-form video editing.
• Experience with social scheduling and analytics tools.
• Strong interest in gaming and gaming media, plus experience in digital publishing or media.
• Familiarity with social media monetization strategies.
