Senior Golang Software Engineer

Location: Ukraine; remote or office work

What you will do

• Own and evolve Go service architecture standards using domain-driven design, layered architecture, and thin handlers.
• Design, develop, and optimize high-performance Go services for scalability, reliability, and low response times.
• Build shared libraries for scope predicates, event contracts, authentication middleware, and audit logging.
• Deliver performance-sensitive Rules Engine and Enrollment services for high-volume concurrent workloads.
• Implement event-driven integrations with EventBridge, SQS, and related messaging technologies.
• Develop stateful workflows and saga patterns with AWS Step Functions.

Requirements

• Practical experience with Agentic AI systems.
• Production experience building Go APIs with REST, gRPC, or GraphQL, including goroutines, concurrency patterns, and explicit error handling.
• Hands-on PostgreSQL experience with pgx or sqlc and schema-per-service architectures without cross-service foreign keys.
• Strong background in microservices, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, containerization, and HPA autoscaling.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, idempotent consumers, correlation IDs, JWT, OIDC, structured logging, and OpenTelemetry tracing.
• Senior-level engineering, communication, and collaboration experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS CDK, Aurora Serverless v2, ElastiCache, or Redis.
• Healthcare domain experience, including HIPAA-aware handling of sensitive data.
