Data DevOps Engineer (iGaming)

Location: Malta; relocation support is provided for moving to Malta.

What you will do

• Design, build, and improve cloud-based data infrastructure for scalable and reliable data solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Warehousing, CRM, and Data Science teams to support project delivery.
• Manage, scale, and maintain AWS services and data infrastructure, including EC2, ECS, Batch, Redshift, Airflow, Lambda, Athena, and S3.
• Improve observability, governance, scalability, cost efficiency, testing, and automation.
• Develop infrastructure and automation artifacts using Python, Shell, Docker, and Terraform.
• Monitor the technology stack, resolve operational issues, and maintain SOPs and SLAs in partnership with security and DevOps teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, Platform Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or Data Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Terraform.
• Strong Python skills for clean, maintainable automation code.
• Experience building and supporting data warehouses, operational data stores, data pipelines, and data integration solutions.
• Comfortable with Linux, Git, version control, CI/CD, networking, and service patterns such as pub/sub and APIs.
• Strong ownership, communication, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing skills.
