Data Engineer with German (Snowflake)

Location: Hybrid work model with offices in Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, and Gdansk, Poland

What you will do

• Build and maintain data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
• Develop data models and ELT processes using SQL, dimensional modelling, and dbt.
• Implement testing and deployment workflows for dbt models.
• Use Git and Bitbucket branching and pull request workflows.
• Support CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, Tekton, or GitLab CI.
• Work with Python for data processing and automation and support deployments in Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• In-depth practical experience with Snowflake as a data warehouse.
• Excellent SQL skills and experience with data modelling, ELT, and dimensional modelling.
• In-depth experience with dbt development, testing, and deployment.
• Proficiency with Git, branching strategies, and pull requests.
• German language proficiency at minimum B2 level is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Key Vault, Entra ID, Blob Storage, or Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with Helm Charts, Artifactory, Argo Workflows, or comparable orchestration tools.
• Experience with finance or investment data products.
• Experience in business analysis and requirements engineering.
