US Applications Engineering Team Leader (Semiconductor CMP)

Location: Newark, Delaware, United States; full-time, onsite role with up to 15% travel.

What you will do

• Lead advanced R&D and applications engineering projects for new slurry and post-CMP cleaning products.
• Manage, train, and develop a team of applications engineers, including performance planning and technical resource allocation.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison for US-based semiconductor customers and lead customer engagements and technical wins.
• Guide design of experiments, process scale-up, commercialization, and process optimization activities.
• Collaborate with R&D, sales, account management, and global product teams to align solutions with customer and market needs.
• Troubleshoot internal and customer process issues while meeting safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science or engineering, or a related field, plus 10+ years of related experience.
• Master's or Ph.D. with 5+ years of related experience is preferred.
• Understanding of semiconductor fabrication, fab metrology, and related procedures.
• Experience with CMP technology, including CMP pad, CMP slurry, or post-CMP cleaning process development.
• Expertise in design of experiments, statistical data analysis, technical reporting, and effective communication.
