Location: Košice, Slovakia; remote work is available only within Slovakia due to European taxation regulation. The role involves working in the European Union to meet customer data security and privacy requirements.
Salary: negotiable, with a base salary of at least €1,270 gross, plus a variable component and other financial benefits.

What you will do
- Solve complex operational problems in a hyperscaler's cloud backend.
- Work with hardware and cloud infrastructure at the console.
- Develop and operate monitoring and quality assurance solutions.
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes using common automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with a team of cloud and security specialists in an open, supportive environment.
Requirements
- Completed studies in a technical, engineering, or scientific field, or comparable professional training.
- At least 2 years of professional IT experience, including securing Linux operating systems and working with modern cloud technologies.
- Strong knowledge of software-defined networks, routing, firewalls, IDS/IPS, Anti-DDoS, WAF, and physical networks.
- Extensive infrastructure automation experience and strong knowledge of Linux, network services, and IT security.
- Customer focus, knowledge of agile development processes, and the ability to evaluate technical solutions and develop creative approaches.
- Fluent written and spoken English; remote work is limited to Slovakia.
Nice to have
- OpenStack experience.
- Programming experience in open-source projects.
