What you will do
- Lead a core shift and manage shift-level operational performance, safety compliance, and labor planning.
- Coach, mentor, and develop a team of Area Managers while ensuring staffing, skills, and operational readiness.
- Monitor site KPIs, perform root-cause analyses, and drive continuous improvement and best-practice adoption.
- Collaborate with Automation, OpEx, HR, IT, and Transport teams to resolve operational challenges and align resources.
- Support the implementation of new processes, tools, and automated systems across the fulfillment center.
- Help launch and scale operational standards, including support during peak periods, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in operations, logistics, or manufacturing management.
- Experience managing teams of 20 or more people in fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical, data-driven, problem-solving, communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- High school leaving exam (Abitur/Matura) or higher education.
- Proficiency in English required; Czech is a plus but not mandatory.
- Availability for regular Monday-to-Friday business hours, with occasional Saturdays when operationally needed.
Nice to have
- University degree or MBA in a related field.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with WMS tools and high-volume automated fulfillment operations.
