Incident Response Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Investigate, triage, and respond to security incidents across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments.
• Lead containment, eradication, and forensic analysis activities for customer engagements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and prepare clear, actionable reports for technical teams and stakeholders.
• Perform proactive threat hunting to identify adversary behavior missed by existing detection mechanisms.
• Communicate incident updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Partner with detection engineering and security operations teams to improve visibility.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of experience in incident response, forensic analysis, and security operations.
• Strong English and Spanish communication skills are required, both written and verbal.
• Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems and enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
• Availability for occasional on-call support and after-hours incident response.
• Willingness to travel as needed for engagements or customer support.

Nice to have

• GCIH, GCFA, CISSP, or other relevant industry certifications.
