Senior Staff Engineer, Full Stack and Operations (IoT)

Location: Toulouse, France; hybrid work with office attendance Monday–Friday

Salary: €50,225–€71,750 per year

What you will do

• Contribute to solution design and high-level architecture for Cloud Platform software.
• Develop, test, and deliver robust full-stack application software with comprehensive automated test coverage.
• Focus on backend systems, including account management and back-office tooling.
• Plan Cloud Platform development work, manage engineering tasks, and track delivery commitments.
• Troubleshoot production issues, resolve defects, and implement operational improvements and minor enhancements.
• Support live Cloud Platform operations through an on-call rotation and document application designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of application software development experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.
• Experience developing and operating microservices in a cloud environment.
• Experience with continuous delivery, agile environments, and automated testing.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a technical discipline.
• 10+ years of application software development experience.
• Experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Java development.
