Location: Hybrid role based in Harwell, UK; Athens, Greece; Barcelona or Mallorca, Spain; Porto, Portugal; or Tenerife. Legal right to work in the chosen location is required.

What you will do

• Define and execute the spectrum and regulatory strategy for satellite communications services.
• Manage and protect ITU filings, spectrum assets, and regulatory rights throughout their lifecycle.
• Lead frequency coordination with satellite operators and national administrations.
• Oversee compatibility analyses, interference modelling, link budgets, and EPFD assessments.
• Manage licensing for gateways, TT&C infrastructure, and user terminals across multiple jurisdictions.
• Represent hirify.global with regulators, international bodies, and industry stakeholders.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in ITU Radio Regulations, filing procedures, and international coordination processes.
• Strong understanding of satellite communications systems, RF performance, link budgets, interference analysis, and EPFD constraints.
• Experience leading spectrum strategy and regulatory negotiations with administrations and satellite operators.
• Knowledge of national licensing frameworks and global regulatory environments.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical, operational, and commercial strategy.
• Strong collaboration skills across engineering, mission operations, legal, and commercial teams.
