TL;DR
Forward Deployment Engineer Principal (AI): Designing, building, and deploying production AI and agentic solutions for clients with an accent on LLM integration, RAG, agent workflows, and enterprise systems integration. Focus on taking AI concepts from proof of concept to live deployment, implementing guardrails for regulated environments, and proving measurable business impact.
Location: Remote within the U.S.; 25% travel within the U.S. may be required

What you will do
- Work directly with clients to identify valuable AI and agentic use cases and convert them into production-grade solutions.
- Build AI-powered proofs of concept across data pipelines, LLM and model integrations, agent workflows, and application interfaces.
- Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems, APIs, and data sources.
- Own solutions through prototyping, deployment, iteration, and operational handoff.
- Implement guardrails for regulated environments, including human review, logging, evaluation, and observability.
- Define success metrics, troubleshoot complex systems, mentor engineers, and document reusable AI delivery patterns.
Requirements
- Advanced expertise in AI and agentic solution deployment, systems integration, and technical delivery.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, and agentic frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
- Strong programming or scripting skills in Python, Java, or a similar language.
- Experience with APIs, distributed systems, cloud architectures, and complex technical troubleshooting.
- Client-facing communication skills and experience leading technical delivery across enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of security, data privacy, and compliance considerations for AI systems; bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent skills-based experience.
Nice to have
- Experience in financial services, fintech, payments, or banking platforms.
- Experience with MLOps, LLMOps, evaluation frameworks, and observability tooling.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, containers, or orchestration.
- Consulting, forward-deployed, or solutions-engineering experience in AI delivery.
