TL;DR
Specialist, Quality Assurance (SPC/CAPA/FMEA): Supporting quality programs for stable chemical mechanical pad manufacturing processes and customer satisfaction with an accent on process control, quality documentation, and data review. Focus on analyzing SPC trends, maintaining FMEAs and product control plans, coordinating audits, and tracking corrective and preventive actions to completion.

Location: Onsite at the Aurora, Illinois facility, United States

Salary: $76,000–$96,500 per year, with actual pay dependent on overall skills for the role.

What you will do

  • Support Out-of-Control Action Plans, internal investigations, and corrective and preventive actions by gathering data, documenting findings, and tracking CAPAs to completion.
  • Prepare Statistical Process Control trend summaries and review process stability, shifts, and improvement opportunities.
  • Complete control limit reviews and updates with data preparation, statistical summaries, and change documentation.
  • Maintain FMEAs and process control plans to reflect current controls, inspection methods, quality issues, and process changes.
  • Author and maintain quality reports, summaries, audit records, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate internal audit scheduling, support quality reviews, and participate in cross-functional continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, quality, or engineering environment.
  • Foundational knowledge of SPC, root cause analysis, CAPA, FMEA, and product control plans.
  • Strong written documentation, data analysis, and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work onsite at the Aurora facility; immigration-related sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
