TL;DR
Design Director (AI) (UX/Product Design): Leading Selecto’s design practice, developing designers, setting creative direction, and partnering with the CEO and Sales to drive presales and business growth with an accent on digital product design, UX research, design systems, and AI-assisted design. Focus on building team capabilities, maintaining quality across client projects, facilitating discovery and workshops, and demonstrating design value to international clients.
Location: Remote from Lviv, Ukraine

What you will do
- Own ’s design practice, set creative direction, and develop the design team through hiring, mentorship, coaching, growth plans, and resource allocation.
- Maintain design quality across projects and keep methodologies, workflows, tools, and guidelines up to date.
- Collaborate with clients during discovery, strategy, workshops, critical project stages, and negotiations.
- Launch projects, conduct design discovery, and support project delivery hands-on when needed.
- Partner with the CEO on company branding and support Sales with presales, design-value demonstrations, and project estimation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in agency or outsource design and 2+ years in a design lead, art director, or similar leadership role.
- Experience creating digital web and mobile products for international clients.
- Strong knowledge of UX research, including user research planning, CJM, JTBD, discovery, and usability testing.
- Experience building design systems and guidelines, working with analytics and design metrics, and conducting A/B testing.
- Advanced Figma proficiency and fluency in AI design tools and techniques, including automation, design generation, and context management.
- Fluent English at C1 level or above is required.
