QA Automation Lead (Networking)

Location: Anywhere; remote, full-time, with working hours aligned to CET

hirify.global is building a network operating system covering routing, firewalling, network interfaces, VPNs, tunneling, configuration, and upgrades.

What you will do

• Build automated test coverage for the new network operating system.
• Review and adapt an existing automated test suite for the new platform.
• Develop new automated tests for routing, firewalling, interfaces, VPNs, tunneling, configuration, upgrades, and regressions.
• Identify coverage gaps and determine which tests can be reused or need to be created.
• Build the initial proof of concept and help estimate the scope, timeline, and team required for broader automation coverage.
• Help establish and grow the new QA team while remaining technically involved.

Requirements

• Experience building and maintaining automated test suites.
• Hands-on test automation experience.
• Networking knowledge covering routing, network stacks, firewalls, VPNs, tunneling, interfaces, and related protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Unix-like systems.
• Experience leading QA engineers or owning QA for a complex technical product, with the ability to define a practical testing approach and implement it.
• English at B2+ level is required; Russian is strongly preferred.
