Product Manager (Virtual Fencing)

What you will do

• Understand farmers’ needs through regular on-farm visits and direct conversations with dairy and beef farmers.
• Translate farm insights into simple, usable, and elegant product features.
• Develop deep expertise in virtual fencing technology and how it is used in practice.
• Prioritise what gets built next based on its potential impact on farm operations.
• Work with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to build and ship features.
• Support feature rollouts and ensure successful farmer adoption.

Requirements

• Practical farming experience as a shepherd, farm hand, farm manager, or rural professional.
• Strong interest in learning how virtual fencing technology works.
• Ability to navigate uncertainty, break down complex problems, test ideas, and adapt quickly.
• Critical thinking and the ability to develop simple solutions to complex problems.
• Clear communication with engineers, farmers, and other teams.
• Attention to simplicity, usability, elegance, and detail in products used in demanding real-world environments.
