Location: Christchurch or Wellington, New Zealand

is Aotearoa New Zealand’s largest renewable electricity producer, operating the Meridian and Powershop retail electricity brands.
What you will do
- Lead Meridian Retail’s Customer Growth Practice across product growth, customer experience, user experience, brand, and go-to-market capability.
- Shape growth strategy and customer propositions across Meridian and Powershop.
- Help Retail Value Streams prioritise opportunities using customer insight, data, experimentation, and commercial discipline.
- Improve customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and customer lifetime value.
- Elevate the Meridian brand and revitalise the Powershop brand and customer proposition.
- Build modern go-to-market practices and product-led growth capability.
Requirements
- Strategic and commercially minded leadership experience across product, customer growth, brand, customer experience, user experience, or go-to-market disciplines.
- Ability to connect customer insight, market opportunities, and business strategy with clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
- Strong leadership-through-influence skills, including capability building, team alignment, and momentum creation.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams or communities of practice and coaching specialist teams.
- Ability to partner with senior leaders and work across agile or cross-functional delivery models.
- Customer obsession, curiosity, and confidence to challenge the status quo.
