What you will do
- Develop, design, debug, maintain, test, implement, and validate software applications throughout the software development life cycle.
- Build basic to moderately complex code across front-end and back-end technologies for internal and external client solutions.
- Analyze application and database interactions, modify code, perform unit testing, and validate changes.
- Participate in client-facing meetings and discussions with joint ventures and vendor partners to determine solution approaches.
- Support application standards, controls, procedures, monitoring, and PCI security compliance.
- Provide estimates, assist with training, and guide other software engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
- Advanced knowledge of one or more front-end or back-end programming languages and moderate knowledge of the corresponding technology area.
- Experience with two or more modern enterprise programming languages, APIs, external services, and relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with operating systems, databases, development tools, web technologies, or related enterprise platforms.
Nice to have
- 6+ years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
- Experience with IBM Rational Tools.
