TL;DR
Windows Systems Engineer II (Windows Server): Building, configuring, and deploying enterprise Windows infrastructure and Microsoft SQL Server failover clusters with an accent on Active Directory, server hardening, and implementation projects. Focus on validating high-availability environments, troubleshooting authentication and replication issues, and supporting customer deployments.
Location: Remote from India; Gurgaon, as applicable. Rotational 24x7 shift.

What you will do
- Build, configure, harden, patch, and validate Windows Server environments.
- Install and support Microsoft SQL Server failover clusters and high-availability environments.
- Configure and manage Active Directory Domain Services, including domains, OUs, GPOs, users, groups, trusts, and migrations.
- Support infrastructure implementation, migration, customer onboarding, and production handover projects.
- Provide Level 2 troubleshooting, root cause analysis, documentation, and knowledge base updates.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, database teams, application teams, and support teams.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in Windows infrastructure implementation and support.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, or 2022 builds and configuration.
- Experience deploying and configuring Microsoft SQL Server clusters.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Windows security, patching, and server hardening.
- Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing, plus virtualization experience with VMware or Hyper-V.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Nice to have
- PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and change management.
- Experience with Azure infrastructure services.
- Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, Azure Administrator, MCSA, or equivalent certification.
- Customer-facing implementation or professional services experience.
