What you will do
- Design and implement backend services for new product functionality.
- Collaborate with Product, Business, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Write high-quality, maintainable code and modernize the technology stack.
- Own system components and continuously improve them using monitoring best practices and computer science principles.
- Participate in design discussions and code reviews, proposing and implementing solutions to technical challenges.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- At least 2 years of mentoring junior engineers.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.
- Strong foundation in an object-oriented programming language, primarily Python.
- Experience with microservices architecture, event-driven programming, server communication, and Linux.
- Strong foundation in IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS in an AWS environment.
