What you will do
- Develop high-quality, scalable backend applications for insurance products across multiple apps.
- Build backend systems that support end-to-end insurance user journeys.
- Design and ship new features with diverse engineering and product teams.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide timely resolutions.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and the technical direction of projects.
- Participate in on-call rotations to maintain service reliability.
Requirements
- Relevant software development experience with proficiency in Golang or Java; Golang is preferred.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with Git and cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience applying clean architecture and SOLID principles to complex projects.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, maintainable code and documentation.
