Quality Document Control Supervisor (Semiconductor)

Location: Camarillo, California, USA; hybrid schedule with four days onsite and Friday remote. Must be a US resident; ability to travel approximately 10%.

Salary: $94,000–$135,000 per year.

What you will do

• Supervise, mentor, develop, and performance-manage Document Control Specialists; assign workloads, manage capacity, and maintain backup coverage.
• Handle escalated customer-specific compliance inquiries and coordinate resolutions with Business Units, Legal, HR, Procurement, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders.
• Review and approve compliance documentation, manage customer portal access and submissions, and oversee ESG, CDP, CSA, RBA, supplier, and corporate survey activities.
• Design, test, and implement document data processes, templates, workflows, governance standards, automation opportunities, and AI-assisted review tools.
• Conduct and supervise QA/QC audits of POR Document Control files and electronic document control systems, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions.
• Monitor KPIs, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and oversee product compliance for Conflict Minerals, REACH, RoHS, CA Proposition 65, TSCA, human trafficking and slavery, the Code of Conduct, the EU Waste Framework Directive, Material Declaration, and IPC requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a relevant discipline, or an Associate’s degree with 4+ years of progressive document control or product compliance experience, including at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Experience in a semiconductor environment.
• Experience supervising or leading a team, including coaching, development, accountability, and performance management.
• Working knowledge of RoHS, REACH, TSCA, Conflict Minerals (CMRT/EMRT), and CA Proposition 65.
• Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks including GRI, SASB, and CDP, plus sustainability data management.
• Experience with RBA/EICC Code of Conduct audits and SAQ processes; exposure to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or IATF 16949 quality management systems.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, prioritization, decision-making under time pressure, written and verbal communication, and ability to explain complex regulatory requirements to non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with PLM systems, preferably Agile PLM, document management tools, and statistical/database applications such as JMP.
• Proven project management skills, self-motivation, independent execution, and commitment to workplace safety, sustainability, and environmental compliance.
• Must be a US resident and able to travel approximately 10%.
